Nama Padma

'Nama' gift of grace 'Padma' lotus. Within us all is the gift of the blossoming lotus, symbolizing purity, enlightenment, self-regeneration and rebirth.

Much like the human experience.

Beneath the dark, muddy water the struggles of life settle in, within those murky waters are the roots of a sacred flower, throughout the twists and turns of the journey, the plant continues to grow, continues to push through until it reaches the surface of the water, to the light. Despite the journey, the petals of the flower are never touched or affected by the water, the center remains untouched throughout its unpleasant journey. The lotus flower then blossoms within the light, radiating its soul for all to see. 

This journey very beautifully represents the human cycle of life where all humans are born into a world of suffering where they must learn to overcome difficult times so that they can grow and reach spiritual enlightenment. The muddy waters represent the struggles of life, the bud of the flower represents a person that has not yet reached their full potential, and the blossoming lotus flower above the water represents the purity of the soul and the remembering that we were always whole.
